Proteomics Research
The CBRG in collaboration with the Central Proteomics Facility provide a Mascot server for database searches using proteomics data.
The proteomics search facilities are available to any researcher within the Oxford University Medical Sciences Division.
An account with the CBRG is required in order to use these services.
CBRG and the Central Proteomics Facility:
Proteomics analysis is carried out in collaboration with the Central Proteomics Facility (CPF) at Oxford University.
The CPF consists of proteomics facilities at two locations within the University:
SEARCH: Mascot
The CBRG in collaboration with the Central Proteomics Facility (CPF) provide a Mascot search engine for the interpretation of protemics mass spectrometry data.
The data may be searched against a variety of public and private protein sequence databases that are maintained by the CBRG.
SEARCH: CPF Proteomics Pipeline
The Central Proteomics Facility have recently introduced a proteomics pipeline to provide easy access to comprehensive analysis tools
for mass spectrometry data. Results from multiple search engines can be combined automatically, and are validated using advanced
statistical models to give high confidence identifications of peptides and proteins.
